Offensive explosion avenges Eagles vs. Dulles

The Eagles pummeled Fort Bend Dulles yesterday, winning both games of a double-header by a combined 17-8 score to avenge two losses earlier in the season.

Our bats exploded up and down the lineup, with the Eagles gaining 9 hits (3 walks) in game 1, and 10 hits (4 walks) in game 2. It was our best offensive day of the season, and better still, it came against quality pitching on Dulles’ part.

“There was a lot to feel good about today. We’ve gotten better, but we need to keep getting better”, said coach Andy Johnson after the game.

Our pitchers performed well again yesterday, allowing only 8 hits over both games, striking out 12 and walking only 4.

Only three games remain in the fall season. Let’s finish strong Eagles!
