Eagles offer clinic for local homeschool players

The Eagles Varsity coach and players held a baseball skills clinic today for players in the Family Homeschool Baseball (fhsb.org) league, which operates in Friendswood offering T-ball, machine pitch, player pitch, girls’ softball and senior divisions for players aged 5-16.

Today’s clinic included rotating stations in which fundamentals, pitching, fielding and hitting were taught. At the end of the clinic a scrimmage was conducted to allow some coaching of game situations.

HCYA Baseball believes in serving the community, in homeschooling, and we believe in the game of baseball as a great teacher of some of life’s most valuable lessons. Today’s clinic was a great opportunity to show our dedication to those concepts, and a great chance for us to invest in some young players in our community, some of whom might just become the next generation of HCYA Eagles!
