Eagles head to World Series with momentum

The Eagles head to the Homeschool World Series in Florida with some momentum. Despite losing some close ballgames recently, the team’s play has improved in multiple aspects of the game.

After a close game on Senior Day on Tuesday, coach Andy Johnson told the team “That was a well played game, guys. There’s a lot there we’ll want to continue and which we can build on…”

Some improvement can be found in the team’s statistics as well. Comparing the 2nd half of the season vs. the 1st half, the team’s best 9 batters improved their hitting from .266 to .294, and the best 6 pitchers improved their combined ERA from 3.78 to 3.47.

Let’s ramp it up even more and finish the year playing our best baseball! Go Eagles!
