Eagles gain redemption for early season loss
Back on February 16th the Eagles lost 10-4 to the Houston Power club team, putting out the worst defensive performance the Varsity Eagles have posted in many years. Seven different players were charged with a total of ten errors.
Yesterday we cashed in on the chance to make up for that loss, run-ruling the Power 15-5, giving up only 7 hits while smacking 15 of our own, (including the first career home run by sophomore Brayton Cardwell.) Most importantly, the Eagles brought our gloves and played a nice game defensively throughout.
We’re approaching the end of the regular season, and it’s nice to see the team putting together all aspects of the game! Let’s keep it going Eagles and drive hard to hit the World Series in Florida with momentum!
