Eagles edge Kyle Chapman Navy 8-6 in tight double-header

The Eagles overcame a disappointing 1-run loss in the first game with a 4-1 victory in the second contest to top Kyle Chapman Navy today by a combined score of 8-6.

In total the Eagles posted 15 hits and 6 walks, while allowing 13 hits and 7 walks in a competitive matchup with one of the strongest teams in the Kyle Chapman Fall league.

When our defense gets polished up to the level of our hitting and pitching, we will be a very strong team! Only 2 of KC’s runs were earned.

Let’s keep working on those fundamentals Eagles, and keep getting better. Spring is only 4 months away, and all of this work in Fall will pay off!

Go Eagles!
