Bats and arms stay hot in victory over Cruz

The Eagles got 9 hits from 6 players en route to a 6-5 combined tally over Cruz Baseball in double-header action yesterday. Cruz Baseball took the first game 3-1 but HCYA roared back with a 5-2 win in game 2.

Senior Mark Davis led the Eagles’ offensive attack, chalking up 3 hits including a solo home run in game 2.

Our pitching was again solid, giving up only 7 hits, striking out 18 while issuing only 8 bases on balls.

We’re coming to the end of the fall season, and the hard work many players have put in is starting to show clearly. The regular spring season is still more than three months away, and more work is needed for this roster significantly reloaded from last year.

Keep up that hard work Eagles! It will pay off even more than what you’ve seen so far!

Reminder: check out the Eagles Workout Program for details on what EVERY player should be doing at home.

HARD WORK BEATS TALENT WHEN TALENT DOESN’T WORK HARD !

GO EAGLES !
